hellooooooo blogspot.....its been a long time!

Did a little Halloween decorating yesterday finally!!!!!!!


This is Little Cheech.....she is the love of my life......she was very very sick for a while a couple of weeks ago and I did not think she would make it.....she spent 4 days in the hospital....but she survived!!!! She now has diabetes...and I have to give her insulin shots twice a day.....when she got a little better she wanted one of Stellas toys (mortimer moose) very badly......she tried to take it several times but she got caught...so last week I surprised her with her own Mortie....now she wants the babys playmat.....where do I draw the line....lolol...
The last couple of weeks have been a roller coaster and Im ready to have things settle down a bit.....I have learned a lot....mostly I have learned what is important and what is not..and WHO is important and who is not....and that TRUE friends will love you and support you through the hard times...and the ones who dont..well....kiss off....and you know who you are:)
With that said.....I will try to be on more often now that some of the hard times are behind me.....so very glad fall is finally showing itself here in So Cal where a couple of weeks ago it was 112......Happy Fall ya'll.....

Summers almost gone....

The highlight of my summer was that my first born came for a visit.....

I wish I could see her gorgeous face more often, I iss her more than I can ever put into words....summer flew by and hopefully now as things cool down I will start sewing and doing something I can share ...my sister and I did get together a couple times over the summer to work on some wool projects and I will blog those soon....as well and some other things that have been happening.....but right now I have to run!!!! Just didnt want ya all to think I disappeared......

my bff from jr. high...YES jr.high..hosted a wedding shower for her future DIL at her beautiful home in San Juan Capistrano and I just had to share some pics of it with you...it is fabulous! minutes from the famous mission of the same name, and from the ocean, its one of the prettiest houses I have ever seen and it was a great day for a shower....



she just remodeled her kitchen and it is to die for..the whole house is kind of cottagy beachy blue and yellow....





We have been having amazing weather here in So Cal...I have not used the a/c all summer although I did hear heat is on the way...I hope not because that usually means fires and crappy air....but Im not going to complain since this time of year is always horrid and its been like spring!
I have been making a few things out of wool, I will post soon, but its been a pretty lazy summer enjoying the outdoors....see ya soon!

Oh Im sooooo lazy!!!!!

Summer has been a bit boring around here so we have resorted to amusing ourselves in some very interesting ways.....lololol

My sister on the other hand has been very busy making her bags and I just had to show you this one...dragonfly fabric with wool dragon flies.her prices are amazing for the quality and fabrics..please go check her out..as my BBF would say...LOVE LOVE LOVE.....
