The bed is all primed and ready to plant!!!!! Shall I save it for you? Might be fun to spend an hour playing with flowers?

On getting OLD........er

Well, today is my birthday....loved the call from my girl.....thank you!

When I think that Iam 54, it doesnt seem to register, although after this year my BODY feels 54, but my mind still feels 18......as I looked around at all the old fat people at the Rod Stewart concert, I laughed at them, thinking what old farts, rocking out like foolls at thier age...........BUT IAM ONE OF THEM!!!!!!!!!! Loved when he sang his 70s songs, and I still felt 18 in my head, the sights, the sounds, the smells, YES there was a purple haze over the crowd and we loved it, lol..........so the question of the day is....."when will I start acting my age?" OR "do I ever WANT to start acting my age?"

I think not...........................happy birthday to me!

Spring or (SUMMER?) is here.....

It has been in the 90s, which has really pissed me off since Ive had the worst cold in history and havent really enjoyed my (sick) time off............seems to be getting better tho........

Aunt Cindy had to evacuate, again, didnt we just do this LAST year, arson fire, 70 mph winds, but they are fine!

Eric Clapton tomorrow night.........which means cole slaw at the Pantry, yumm.

Pop Pop Fizz Fizz.............

I guess this is what I get for being so smug and thinking I have escaped the horrid cold that has been circulating for the late couple of months....it is definatly kicking my ass!!!

Second day of the fat girlfriends diet.....success yesterday, salmon and brocolli and oatmeal....no cheating, even tho I had a bad moment with the thin mints in the freezer, I got thru it....

Beautiful weather here again today, spring is here in full bloom!!!

And so is my cold....................

Happiness is saying Goodbye..........

To an old OLD friend....the old red lexus, old faithful, finally saying goodbye!!!! Giving it to someone who needs a car........and getting it OUT of MY driveway, lol!!!! ONE down, 3 to go..........

Spent the day yesterday at Piecemakers with Leighenne, had a great time seeing Aunt Honey and the girls, bought a few treasures........Glenni, how come you never told me there was a rug hooking punch needle...omgggggggggg! Leighanne and I both got one, great for those hearts for doll clothes in a fraction of the time!

Beautiful day here, Glenni, I sure hope the weather is like this when you come, its about 80 and its only 9:00 in the morning, great day for being outside.......doing yard work....Im thinking Joe wishes it would rain!

Happiness is...........

My new granite countertops.......I have waited a long time for them!!!! Took me forever to decide on a color!

BUT, omg, the mess and dust....I have spent the entire morning dusting, cleaning, its everywhere!!

BUT sooooooo worth the wait!!!! Now I wanna bake cookies or something gourment, but alas, I have to go to work, theres a mens event tonight form 7-9.

This weekend I will be at the Piecemakers show with Leighanne all weekend, we have a lot of catching up to do!!! The diet will start Monday, still havent opened the medifast yet:(
