OK..enough of summer already!!!!!

I have been sewing a bit....Im making a few of these guys for Cupcaketo sell in her booth in September....I really wish I could be there...but I will be there in spirit!!!!!

We have had to put Sadie on a diet, she needs to lose 2 pounds, which is like me losing the 40 pounds I need to lose...we will do it together, but she is not too happy about it!
It really is the dog days of summer here in so cal, but it has cooled down a bit in the last couple of days, and the nights are awesome........we had a fairly cool summer until a few weeks ago, then the fires and the heat made up for it. Im dusting soot of my furniture every this cool weather is very welcome..
Fall is my favorite time of year, and its very unpredictable here...just when I get out all the decorations and start lighting candles, its inevitable we get a september heat wave. I hate that!
Things to look foward too......the season premiere of Greys she or isnt she dead???????
Lighting my Yankee candle Almond Cookie candle for the first time!!!
Going to Oak Glen and getting apples.....are ya with me anyone????
NOT sweating!!!!!!!!!
OH, and one more favorite thing I have discovered......HOARDERS......omg...monday nights, here its channel 72.....the ultimate in grossness...but it sucks you right in!!!!!!
Have a cool day everyone!!!!!!

I'm awaiting fall weather impatiently and hope that the heat we have now will soon be gone. It's summer still, I know, but I am no fan of the hot/humid days. Hurry, Fall! Love your crafty stuff!

I am with you on being sick to death of summer!!! I am doing my fall decorating, and it is hard when it is hot. But I love this time of year so much!
I can't wait for GA season premiere too. And Dancing With The Stars...and a few others. I will look for Hoarders!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the cat. They will do great in my booth I'm sure. So get busy! I love the candy corn in the cats lap. SOOO CUTE.
We're having some heat wave here too. Well more humidity than heat. I worked up a good sweat today dealing with those kids let me tell you. But I'm decorating the house anyway. Heat or no heat. I'm ready for punkins.

I agree with's hard to get into a true "fall" spirit when it is still soo hot. I thought we a turned a corner but I think it is 100 again today, sigh...But, Oak Glen sounds wonderful..I love it there. The cats are darling. Blessings, Debbie
