Packing up!

I saw this idea somewhere and I decided to try it....

You just get some of those green trees from Michaels or Joanns and soak them in bleach for awhile....when they are white its time to dye them...I just just a little of the dye in a bowl of hot water....

They really turned out a cool color.....

I used a pink and a teal dye....then you get some glitter and some spray adhesive...I used the same color glitter then I used a white to make it look like they were frosted....

They really turned out very cool...and since I had a ton of them I packed some up to take to the show this weekend......

I also made some extra tags....

And some cupcake kits....

And some Annies......although life got in the way and I didnt make very many.....

A couple of them turned out so cute I hope they dont sell so I can keep them.....

We are having a major wind storm here in Cali....I have a bit of damage to my yard...broken birdbaths, lots of potted plants ruined, but so far no power outage like lots of folks and no trees down in my yard......supposed to be gusts up to 60 MPH but I swear its worse than that....it gets windy here...Santa Anas, devil winds...always come this time of year...but these are the worst I can ever remember!!!!

If you live in So Cal, come see me at Piecemakers this weekend!!!!!!!!

I bleached a bunch of trees last year but I never thought to bleach them. They are stinkin' cute!

And the dolls are adorable. I tried to pick a favorite but I simply couldn't - love 'em all. LOL

Good luck!!!!

I wanna come!!! Why did they put California so stinking far away from Nod??!!! Cute trees - but I'm coveting your Annies... ;o) Best of luck with the show (not like you'll need it...) - and hope the winds subside...I am NOT a wind fan....Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

That tree idea is fun - I like them after you strip the green off - sort of prim looking - or at least that's how they look on my monitor, lol. Your Annie girls are absolutely 'break your heart cute'...and you know they are going to sell so make another pair just for you. Don't blow away this weekend - that wind has been just terrible fierce!

I saw the wind storm you had on the news tonight. I'm glad you didn't have major damage.

The colorful bottle trees come out nice and I love your sweet Annie dolls. Hope you did well at your show!

See you are so creative. You should have been doing this years ago!!! I'm just sayin. Very, very cute. This is what you were meant to be doing.

I love the way your little trees turned out! Aren't you glad the winds have died down? My hubby sometimes has to climb a power pole for his work, so I always worry a little bit when those winds get so strong. Today was beautiful here though.
Have a joyous weekend!
Blessings,
Marcia
