My birthday trip...

Sometimes my birthday presents involve a trip back to New England to spend time with my BFF...these are such good times!!!!


She is a hugely talented jewelry maker and she made me these 2 beautiful necklaces...you can see it but she punched my word of the year...which is change...into the locket...just stunning and very precious to me!!!!

Speaking of my word for the year..CHANGE.....boy...who knew at the beginning of the year there would be so many changes in store for me..and I must say, so far, all good!!! Change of address...change of attitude..change of heart...lots of changes. I make a lot of mistakes,,,but I try to make it right when I do wrong...and one thing I have had to learn this year is to forgive. I have learned that forgiveness is a gift to ME...I cannot control anyone else..just me..and although I mess up I do try to make it right.

Been busy......

I havent had much time to blog lately...I have been moving!!!!!!!!!!!





Its been so crazy....but we are finally in the new house....maybe not all unpacked, but in!!!!!!!! I will post pics soon!!!!

Tomorrow I will try to post pics of an amazing trip I took...for my birthday my hubby gave me a trip back east to a Housewives of New Jersey scrapbook retreat with my best friend Glenni..and let me tell you I had a blast!!!!! We got to dish with Kim D....and meet Albert...who by the way is my new hall pass...lololololol.....so all about it tomorrow!!!!!!! back to unpacking...my family wants to kill me for all the sewing scrappy craft crap I have....more boxes of all of it than anything else combined!!!!!!!!!

Road trip......

I have been so busy I dont even have time to blog...Im moving..but I did take a road trip with my best friend Glenni to the Brownstone in New Jersey for a Housewives of New Jersey scrapbook crop....and we had a blast......I promise I will blog pics of it very soon.....in the meantime. back to packing..ugh...I need to go on Hoarders...Im drowning in crap!

Sunnys shower....

Sunny is my daughters best friend..they have been best friends since they were in diapers, we have lived across the street from each other for 25 years, in 2 different cities...YES we moved into the house across the street from them the frist time by accident, the second time on purpose....we literally followed them so our girls could stay together. They went on vacations together, they went to see the New Kids on the Block together when they were little...they were each others maid of honor..and now they are having babies together, well, a year apart, which is what they are! So this is the shower that the girls, there are 4 best friends now, put on for Sunny...and it was so sweet. Her color is green, shes having a boy named Logan, and her theme is elephants...remember that cute invitation and diaper bag I showed you last week!

This is the dessert table....all kinds of goodies were dipped in chocolate yumminess!


Of course Stella joined the party!









It was a lot of fun...but it also makes me feel very very old..where have the last 25 years gone????

signs of spring......

this is Cookie.....as in cookie monster...cuz thats who she looks like.....she is the sweetest dog I have ever had...she lives to love...

spring is all over the place...its been cold for cali and today is just a perfect warm springlike day....

at my daughters wedding I gave out packets of daisys, and I sprinkled all the leftovers all over my yard....they are adorable!






like I said, its been cold here in cali.....this snow is only a short drive away!

I went to a shower yesterday and got to bring home one of the centerpieces...stunning!

OK so its been awhile since I have done any CVSing...but Im starting to deplete my stash and decided its time for a trip...the deals were great, and anytime they have razors for FREEE...Im all over it....so I got about 70.00 worth of stuff for about 10.00....and all stuff I can use for sure!!!!!!! got to get back on the CVS track!!!!!

So my daughters best friend is having a baby.......so I gave this invitation to my sister and asked her to make me one of her totes..the theme of the new babys room is elephants as you can see by the invitation.....

And all I could do when I saw the bag was jump for joy....its just so perfect..and the little elephants are all done in wool and stitched by hand..LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!
