We are broken hearted......

We are sad puppy parents right now..........our baby jumped off a chair last night and blew out her kneecap....never thought that was possible, but I guess it is. We spent 4 hours in the doggy emergency room, x-rays, lots of pain meds, and a diagnosis that may include knee surgery if this doesnt pop back in.....

Shes pretty medicated right now and she still wants to walk around on 3 legs.......its so sad.

The saddest part of the was a family my heart just aches for, thier precious family member couldnt be saved , and the kids were devastated, so were the parents, and I could not help but cry for them. One question I will ask God if I ever have the chance, why cant our pets live as long as we do..........they are our best friends.

Oh Deb I am so sorry...our Zack had surgery on one knee and then 2 months later had the other one done. They are just so pitiful. The surgery is amazing and he's better than new now. I'm sending lots of good thoughts that Sadie won't need any surgery...it will go right back where it's supposed to be!

Oh poor baby, those tiny dogs can really hurt themselves jumping off furniture. When my niece got a small terrier they warned her not to let him jump down. She has those carpet steps everywhere!

Poor baby, hope the meds help and she gets better really quick. I hope for no surgery, and will keep my fingers crossed.

Oh Deb, I am so sorry to hear about your pupper! I hope she mends fast and 100%! Take good care of her.
My daughter was in ER tonight too! She cut her thumb making a salad, sliced it right through her thumb nail. Had to have a few stitches. Ouch. And her new baby is only 2 weeks old. When it rains, it pours!!!
