Diet Challenge Monday...

Well, here I'am reporting in for diet challenge Monday.....and I have such good news to report!!!!! I HAVE LOST 4 POUNDS!!!!!!! It was an up and down week I tell ya, down 2 pounds, then back up one, I swear, I really should only weigh myself once a week but I just cant help it....funny, this morning before hubby and I got up, he said he had a dream I lost 4 pounds, and sure enough!!!!!

This is my diet of choice.....now I know a lot of you out there think this is an awful diet, and it does all kinds of bad things to your cholosterol, but this is the diet that works for me, and it lowers my cholosterol as I lose the weight, and I will only be on it for 2 months, at which time I will switch over to either South Beach or WW......but this will be good to get rid of the first 20 pounds...and I'am kind of an instant gratification gal.......

So I lost the weight eating this.....

and this........never hungry, never.....I hate being hungry, I get cranky, and mean..
So anyways, thanks to our guru I'am on my way, hopefully this will be a good week too....

Sharon's delightful hunka made me this sewing caddy as kind of a thank you for keeping him smelling good,lolol......and I adore it!!!!!! He sells them over at her blog and they are so darling....I know there are some copies floating around out there, but his is the real deal. Thanks Dennis, I love it!!!!
OK fellow dieters, let have a great week!!!! My goal is to walk every single day...I managed 4 days last week, and to try to drink more water......and to get in a couple nights on the Wii fit.....oh, and to remember to take my dang vitamins!!!!

That's exciting Deb - good for you! I finally got up the courage to post pics. Ugh. What I wouldn't do for Ms Red and I don't even really know her. I wonder if she told me to go jump off a bridge...

Wooohoo indeed! Good for you. I had a slow week but it's more about the long haul. You might try taking fish oil tablets, they have dropped my cholestrol by about 60 points or so!

Great job!

Yay! Good for you! Atkins is THE MAN. When I do Atkins, my blood pressure goes down, my cholesterol and triglycerides go down, I lose weight, and I feel great. It's really helped with my insulin resistance and a whole lot of other things. Don't let the Atkins diet scare you; there is mounting evidence that it is healthy for certain metabolic types. Read Dr. D'adamo's work, the work of Weston Price, Dr. William Wollcot, Dr. Ronald Hoffman, and many others. It isn't right for everyone--my husband would get very sick on this diet; he seems to be a natural born vegetarian--but it's right for me. I was a vegan for twenty years and I developed insulin and weight problems--Atkins helped me tremendously. Don't let anyone scare you! I'm rootin' for you! Yay Deb!

well whatever you need to boost your confidence is what's key. as for walking - hey, we all do it everyday! actually, invest the few $$ in a pedometer if walking is your goal and wear it all day. with some added pacing i generally get up to 10,000 steps which is recommended for weight loss. research has also shown that people who wear pedometers walk more. so worth the investment, don't you think?
