Gratitude......

Bear with me, my computer is still at Best Buy, and I still havent learned how to manever around this MAC enough to post pics, but I do have classes scheduled, and also my old faithful will be ready today, so hopefully by tomorrow I will post pics of all my Christmas goodies.
I did want to share my word for 2009......last year my word was balance....and I do think I achieved way more balance in my life, at least with work.....its so not my priority anymore. From here on in, my priorities will be my hubby, my kids, family and friends....getting healthy, and a few other items......
Having a word for the year really helps you focus on that word and achieving what it is you are after. Glenni introduced me to the word for the year, and as you know, what Glenni does, I do,lololol.....
Anyways, my word for 2009 will be GRATITUDE..........I have always had a habit of looking at the glass half empty, this year I will focus on the glass half FULL......I have more to be grateful for than most of the world, and I so take it for granted. I will try to not whine and complain....and have a spirit of gratitude in everything. I have the BEST of Friends, some life long and some new....and all so very important to me. I have the BEST husband, who treats me like a Queen.....this man has brought me my coffee or tea to me in bed for 25 years, every morning, even when hes been pissed at me. I will focus more this year on taking care of HIM......
My kids are happy and healthy.....and even tho things are very challenging and we face a tough year, we have more than most in this country than most of the world, and we will ride it out, with friends and family.......we will be winners!
I have lots of goals I want to achieve this year......one is getting healthy and losing wieght......Sharon has challenged us in the bloggy world to do this together, so hop onboard and lets do it together. Another goal I have is to make better use of my time.
So my friends, here we are at the beginning of the New Year......2009.....a year of GRATITUDE.

Sounds like a great word for the year and a worthy goal! Fun to learn something new too, with your MAC. Happy New Year.

in my house it's what debbie does, i need to do it too LOLOLOLOL

i'm still waffling on my word. gratitude will probably be the word becuase of the coolest charm you sent me, but...... i am sooo indecisive. i'm liking focus and simplify. maybe i should just choose DECIDE lololol

wouldnt a necklace full of different charms with your word be awesome?????

good luck with the puter problems.

lose weight, man i should join that group, said as i sit here eating fudge LOLOLOL, monday is the start of diet day, just can't start when gordon is still home. (how did you like that excuse?)

Perfect word...I'm taking Sharon's challenge and getting rid of these pounds that have jumped on. I'm not buying bigger clothes.

Good word for the new year. I don't have a word. Maybe I should think of one. Good luck with Sharon's challenge. I may jump on board too. I already have the Weight Watchers online membership that I have ignored for 9 months. Maybe I'll put it to good use again.
