Poor pathetic bare tree....Christmas has come and gone...it was probably the best Christmas in about 25 years....theres NOTHING like having a wee one in the house!!!!

We have been busy here ......making goodies....and playing....and just having fun!!!



This is our first Christmas as Grandparents and we are loving every minute of it.......its magic!

And so it begins.......

The wonder of Stella's first Christmas.......never has the spirit hit so early...wonder why?
By the way...those little black maryjanes Stella s wearing...her mother wore those her first Christmas too....I saved them all these years...and they are a perfect fit!!!

Sadie is a very odd dog.....she does not think shes a dog, she thinks she a baby....

Stella went to my nieces baby shower Sunday and met another little baby...what a flirt she is!!!!

Stella really enjoyed playing with ribbon....its the simple things they love...
As we go into Thanksgiving week..Im so thankful for many things this year......and I will post something everyday that Im thankful for until Thanksgiving......what are you thankful for this year?

Little Cheech

If Little Cheech looks really pissed in this picture, its because she really IS very pissed.....

She was a lobster too this Halloween....and last Halloween....she HATES dressing up....she freezes and will not move...I think its rather amusing.
I did not think Little Cheech would be here for Halloween.....but she fought, and she made it and everyday I have with her is a gift....

Quilt kits for sale....

ok the first kit is called French Quarter by Fig Tree....the layer cake is Martinique, I bought it for 39.95 I will sell it for 24.00.


The second one is a Christmas Quilt...by Pieces of the Heart..crazy eight panel pattern, it includes all the fabric and binding and pattern, and also the panel. it is from Fatquarters shop...I will sell it for 40.00.


the third kit is called A Star is Born...an afernoon delight pattern series...very beautiful fabrics and colors...measures 68x88 and also includes the backing....I paid 78.99 for the kits and 9.00 more or less a yard for the backing....the kit is for sale for 60.00 total..thats a savings of almost 50.00...



This last kit is called Vintage Homestead by Whimsicals....it cost 65.00..includes pattern, fabric and binding, and I also bought the backing too....it measures 51x63....you can have the kit AND the backing for 50.00. thats a savings of over 45.00.

I bought all this kits within the last year or so.....but I was too ambitious, and also my first love is dolls, so Im returning to that and I will be selling more kits and fabric next week too.....the shipping on these will be flat rate 10.00 box...if you buy more than one theres no extra shipping.
