Holy Moly....top this!!!!!

SOOOOOOO.....I wanted to get in some tomatos and cucumbers and other vegies before it was just too late....the lady that lived here before had some lettuce growing, so I decided to make a kitchen garden on the side of the house.....

And I ran into the grand daddy of all boulders!!!! NOW I live sort of in a wash area....we have so many rocks we call them rancho cucamonga potatos...but in all my years living here I have never encountered one quite this large....it took me the better part of an hour to get it loosened up..then I had to roll it down the slpoe....and then what....well....this stroller came in quite handy!!!

NOW...what the heck am I supposed to do with this monster????????


I planted a few things in the borders outside the back door...they were pretty empty....

See those big A$$ boulders along that planter...wonder where THEY came from...lol...maybe I can add mine to the collection!!!! I needed my BFF here with her BIG A$$ pick!!!!!!!!


So now all I have to do is figure out what to put on all these big empty walls everywhere.......this is the family room and the wall behind the couches is HUGE....and empty...

nothing on the dining room walls yet except a mirrior...


and the living room has a huge wall to fill too....I think I want to do all family pictures....but I have no clue how to hang them....NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyone have any ideas on what to do with all these walls???????????
So Im almost done unpacking...my sewing room is the last one...and the hardest.....I have WAY too much stuff...and I need to downsize but Im having a hard time...ya just never know when you might need something...right??????
We finally have a few warm days.......tomorrow I think Im going to take a spa day at a local spa called Glen Ivy.......wish my favorite peeps were here to go with me:(

Easter....

well...we had a fabulous Easter dinner which started with pot stickers and of course cheeseball, which graces every get together...but alas, I totally forgot to take pics of any of the other goodies including the chocolate dipped peeps my daughter made!!!

this is my other niece Sarah with her fiance Brett...he JUST the day before got home from 7 months in Afghanistan..he is a Marine and we are so proud of him and soooo happy to have him back!!!!

my little sister and her hubby....who later after a few glasses of wine started dancing to Jesus Christ Super Star....those of you that have seen him dance...I will say no more...


Stella got lots of goodies but the cello wrap was her fav...

Right now....in this season of my life...for the first time in a long time..right now, in this moment...everything is pretty close to perfect.....now we all know this doesnt last...but for now...Im going to make the most of every minute!!!!

It has been a year since you came into our lives and changed everything......nothing will ever be as important as making sure you are the happiest baby on earth!!!

Obsessed!!!

For some reason every once in a while Little Cheech will get obsessed with something...the last obsession was Stella Mortimer Moose, Cheech whined for hours over that thing, so what did I do? I did what any good dog mommy does, I went to babies R us and got Cheech her own Mortimer moose...however, the price tag was just 14.99..which isnt too bad...now I have always said nothings too good for my Little Cheech...but the price tag on her latest obsession..elmo..was a tad more...SOOOOOO I was THRILLED when I took a load a crap..I mean good used stuff...to the thrift store and there was ELMO!!!!!! for 2 bucks!!!!! I was a little nervous when I took it home..having hid the "other Elmo" in a closet....but she took to it right away and has not let it out of her sight for days........



Elmo is now missing a leg, t shirt is tattered...and he has been ...shall we say....invaded many times....but she still guards him like a hawk! AND OH I found the same glasses at the thrift store that Crate and Barrel wanted 8 bucks apiece for...and I paid 60 cents each..they had 4...HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!!


we are slowly getting moved in the other day I put this hanging plant by my front door on a pedestal and next time I looked a red finch had built her nest there!!!! RIGHT next to my front door....guess we will be using the side door for a while!

Here is the view from my front yard, we just got a sprinkling of snow in the mountains last night..this weather is crazy for so cal....

Housewives Scrappy Retreat....

OK so we have our coffee.....LOVE this coffee..wish we had it in Cali...and we are ready to roll!

we arrive at the Brownstone...and everywhere we look there are these magnificent chandliers....

OMGGGG this is Alberts office........more about HIM later....

here is the bar at the Brownstone...oh if only the walls could talk, the deals made...what history here!

we were greeted with a fabulous buffet breakfast...then later on a buffet lunch..the food was to die for!!!!

We had to walk around and take everything in..I tell ya this place was amazing...


so guess who won the trivia contest???? YES...me and my BFF Glenni!!!!!!!!!

sooooooo we did some scrapping....

and we did some sightseeing...this is the Chateau where the NJ housewives get thier manis and pedis....

this is the market basket where they get those paninis.....



this is me and Kim D.....we dished a lot, she said we are in for a volatile season!!!

and last but not least...me with my new hall pass Albert!!!!! He is adorable, and so nice!!!

It was a blast going to this retreat.....and now I cant wait for the season the start...come on Housewives of NJ...bring it on!!!!!
