Donuts are NOT my friend!

Now those of you who know me well..know that Iam an impatient person....when I want it I want it NOW!!!! and I wanted the mini donut maker....
I have to say the first batch are not all that attractive..I used a sifter the second time around and the powdered suger looked way better...these are buttermilk spice, a yummy taste of fall.
So in keeping with my personality of course I had to have the mini cupcake maker and of course the cake pop maker..which was very hard to find...BUT where theres a will theres a way. I wish I had more patience...I wish I wasnt this way....but I get so obssesed. Remember the lalapaloosey dolls???????? when I started scrapbooking I HAD to have everything.....now Im stuck with a roomfull of crap I dont use!!! Rug hooking...omg if I didnt get it ALL right away I felt so deprived....dont even ASK me about quilting!!!!!!!! or soldering.....or papier mache...or any of the multitudes of hobbies I have started over the years.
I must be getting better tho...I did not buy the mini whoopie pie maker!!!!!

Do any of you out there have this personality trait???? for instance...my wonderful sister..she has patience...if she sees something she does something that is very foreign to me....she THINKS about it!!!!! and in doing that she avoids the dreaded remorse buying. ME...Im all in.....lol...always been that way. Even with my heart...not just with material things. Its a curse sometimes....jumping in with both feet...you can get hurt...or go broke...lololo.....but I have always worn my heart on my sleeve and I guess I always will........its just me.
SO...back to the donut maker.......I give it an A+......I had yummy donuts after 5 minutes in that machine...easy clean up...and they arent fried so you can eat twice as many...(see, thats the way I think!!!!)
How about you...are you practical...or are you like me???????

I get major buyers remorse so I usually have to think about a purchase long and hard. I'm also trying to scale down so I'm trying not to buy anything at all. It's tough. Yes, I think I might need one of those donut makers, too cute!

Yes, I am the same way. I am especially bad about gadgets of all sorts. For cooking and for sewing! I do use them though, so I can say it is okay then. I went right out the next morning and bought the donut maker!! I already planned to buy the cute pink cupcake maker for my granddaughter for xmas. She loves pink, and love cupcakes. So that will be fun for her to do with her Mommy. I thought the donut machine was great. Fast, easy, and delish. A winner~!!

Okay. You've convinced me and I'm buying one of those donut makers for sure! Maybe even tomorrow! :)

My husband is the "thinker" in the family. I am like you. I see it, I want it and I want it NOW! And I NEED to have it all.

Oh yummmm....those look wonderful. Gotta have. (You should be a sales rep for this company!)

As for your question - I guess I'm a weird hybrid....I tend to be overly analytical and OVERthink everything...BUT, when I do something, I'm exactly like you...I'm ALL in....no dipping my toes in just a bit. (Hence, a collection of stamping supplies that spills out of two closets and hasn't been used in years; floss, fabrics and patterns that would last even the most avid stitcher several lifetimes; cookbooks covering every cuisine you can imagine...shall I go on? Oh - and it spills over into "collections" - I can't have ONE of something - if I like it, I LOVE it, and more of one of something is better than one of it, right? Chocolate molds, candle molds, butter molds, sugar molds, vintage Halloween, pewter, pinkeeps, children's books, crows, putz sheep (ok ANY sheep), antique baskets, Steiff, pumpkins (yes, pumpkins).....Ok - hope you feel better cuz I feel worse. Just don't say that "h" word! ;o)

I think I am a little more like Linda. Then you reminded me about my scappbooking splurge. LOL. I guess it is determined by my pocketbook these days and I think before I buy, but oh my...a donut maker, mini cupcake maker, cake pop maker, whoopie pie maker. Well, just may have to choose one.
Thanks for sharing, Deb...I think.

I sure do like the sound of those pumpkin spice doughnuts!
I guess I will splurge when the price is great, and my fabric collection proves I do buy on impulse. Oh, well. At least we keep making stuff!
