Imagine my shock and awe when THIS happened!!!!!!! all I was doing was minding my own business and ironing a few shirts when bammmmmm...flames shot out of my iron and caught my wrist on fire!!!!!!
see the cord.....it was on FIRE!!!!!!!!!! to quote Alicia Keyes...this gal was on fireeeeeeeee!!!!!
after a swarm of facebook posts by friends in high places....lol....Rowenta who had intially not been too coopertive, agreed to send me a new iron asap...and I sent mine to them for evaluation........Im quite sure it was a short...hey...dont ya think I not only deserve a new iron but maybe another small appliance too...lololol.....my arm is a MESS!!!!!!

That is scary! But I'm glad Rowenta manned up and sent you a new iron. Wear protective gear with this one! I hope your wrist heals soon.
