We have artichokes coming out of our ears, this year we got a good crop, so I decided some would look good dried up, besides, they really are quite small, not quite like the ones we get from the farmers market, but they will look cool in a wooden bowl:) I found these cool towels at one of my fav stores, Target! They are so shabby chic, I LOVE them......
We are stressed here about the Griffith Park fire, they are evacuating all around that area..(Glenni, remember when we were on Bundee, thats the area up north of there, by the Hollywood sign)....Im worried about all the animals at the zoo, it is right there next to Griffith Park...........its so dry around here, and breezy, no rain for a long time, so its fire season. How would you begin to evacuate a ZOO?????
Its hotter than hot here, 100 degrees, Im almost glad Im going to work!

sooo sad about the fires! love your new pots, and sandals1! 100, ah my kind of weather! and i remember the artichoke plants, those grew soo fast! and you'll be back to 12 in a day or so, sometimes a girl just needs some cake!
